Recipe for Grilled Skirt Steak

We absolutely love this easy recipe for grilled skirt steak. We make two pounds at a time and use it for meal prep throughout the week. This one is super easy because the steak cooks fast and you can reheat it for lunch. We usually serve with a few corn tortillas, sliced bell peppers, and onions. If you’re having a nice dinner at home, put it on top of a salad with some avocado and other colorful veggies!

What You Need

-2 pounds skirt steak

-1 gallon resealable bag

-4 cloves garlic, minced

-2 tablespoons olive oil

-1 tablespoon coconut aminos

-1 tablespoon cumin

-1 tablespoon chili powder

-Juice of 2 limes

-2 handfuls cilantro, chopped

What To Do

1. Put ingredients in a resealable bag and allow to marinate for at least an hour, up to 24 hours.

2. Heat a griddle or grill pan to high and mist with cooking spray.

3. Cook steak on high for about 3 minutes per side, or longer if you prefer your meat well done. Enjoy!
